With over 25 years of experience in retail management, I’ve honed my expertise in HR, compliance, stock management, and, most importantly, working with people. For the past five years, I’ve also served as a public service councillor for North Carr Ward, where I had the privilege of driving meaningful change. One of my proudest achievements was implementing the HANDS Defib Programme, a maiden motion that made defibrillators accessible across communities in Hull. My portfolio also included housing for homeless refugees and travellers, as well as serving as Chair of Directors for KWL.

While politics was never my passion, people always have been—and still are—the driving force behind everything I do. Social housing, decent homes, community care, and accessible services are causes close to my heart. I believe in creating a future where smart technology serves people first, ensuring no one is left behind.

Through initiatives like Hopen Minds, I’m proud to be part of a team that keeps doors open for those in need. We’re redefining how we support the people of Hull and beyond, connecting individuals to services, services to businesses, and businesses to charities. I firmly believe that holistic solutions, built through strong partnerships, are the key to addressing the challenges we face today.
