Nick Miller
Founder & Director
Nick is a passionate advocate for mental health and community wellbeing. Driven by a deep desire to help people, he founded Hopen CIC, a social enterprise dedicated to making a meaningful impact on individuals and communities. With a background in business and law, Nick’s journey from entrepreneur to therapist reflects his commitment to fostering positive change.
A seasoned businessman, mentor, and coach, Nick is also a psychotherapist in training, specialising in Integrative Relational Psychotherapy. His approach emphasises communication, individualism, and human connection, helping people navigate challenges such as trauma, loneliness, and personal growth. He firmly believes in person-to-person support, recognising that true healing happens through authentic relationships and understanding.
Nick’s transition from the corporate world to therapy was fuelled by his passion for people. He saw first-hand how mental health struggles often go unseen, and he was determined to create a space where individuals feel heard, valued, and supported. His work challenges preconceived notions, reinforcing the idea that we should never judge a book by its cover.
Through Hopen CIC, Nick channels his expertise and compassion into real-world solutions, creating a ripple effect of change. Whether mentoring professionals, coaching individuals, or providing therapy, his mission remains the same: to empower people through meaningful communication and connection.
